The Sixth China Nature Education Forum of China Nature Education Conference was held in China University of Geosciences in Wuhan on November 2-3, 2019. Peng Youdong, Vice Director of National Forestry and Grassland Administration, Zhao Shucong, President of China Society of Forestry and President of National Head School of Nature Education, Zhao Haishan, Deputy Governor of Hubei Province, Sun Lijun, Chairman of Alibaba Foundation, and Wang Yanxin, President of China University of Geosciences in Wuhan attended the opening ceremony and gave speeches. The number of the attendants, including leaders from departments and departments directly under National Forestry and Grassland Administration, leaders from Hubei Forestry Bureau, the People’s Government of Wuhan, and Wuhan Park and Forestry Bureau, as well as representatives and scholars from various government departments, enterprises and institutions, social organizations, commonweal organizations, international organizations, nature education organizations, administrative organizations for nature protection regions, city parks, and news media, were more than 1300. The theme of the conference which consisted of two major forums and more than 20 sub-forums is: enhance nature education, and jointly promote ecological conservation. Wuhan Consensus on China Nature Education and 2 sets of corporate standards were released on the conference. 56 activity curriculum and 82 books with high quality were recommended and 160 nature education schools (bases) were granted during the meeting. Meanwhile, the conference for the next time was decided to be held in Beijing.
